Their Story


Napsomnia was born with a simple purpose to improve human health and wellness. It creates organic and natural health care products for better sleep, more comfort, and improved health. Being made from melatonin, their products ensure that you drift off to sleep soundly and stay asleep throughout the night to wake up feeling refreshed. Its vision is to contribute to the health and well-being of a person by providing innovative, safe, and efficient solutions for sleep disorders.


Their Goal


As a startup in the area of organic and natural healthcare supplements, Napsomnia wanted to enter the market and become a one-stop solution for all who face trouble sleeping. They wanted to evoke the feeling of trust, quality and innovation in the branding relevant to their business value proposition. In addition, they wanted a logo that was designed specifically around a pillow to give clarity about their business. To present a distinct identity of their business, a complete brand design from logo to packaging to brand narrative and web designing was required.

Challenges


We were commissioned to create this new brand from scratch, which included defining its online presence consisting of brand logo, designs, fonts, colors, and website. Our initial challenge was to come up with a premium brand identity that positions them unique in a saturated market space. The second challenge was to design a product label that is more informational yet elegant and compelling. We had no information related to Brand colors, typography or its messaging. So, we had to be very careful in the design choices so as to keep it aligned with their industry and market. There was another challenge with the online platform, as we needed to craft an e-commerce website that also gives knowledge about what the brand is all about.



Solutions


Firstly, to comprehend the market and uncover practical ideas, we analyzed Napsomnia competitors and identify areas of improvement. This helped us write brand-new and simple-to-follow brand narrative and messaging while working on a unique look and feel for the brand. The visual identity that we created for Napsomnia positioned it between high-end and innovative product labels. We developed a brand logo that was minimal in style but strong in its form. It is a text-based logo, where the letter N, A, P that together forms NAP are highlighted by the shape of the pillow. The simple idea behind this concept is to reflect the brand’s promise.

The packaging design was done keeping in mind that it’s a health supplement and the main focus would thus be on its ingredients and key features. We tried to keep the design of the product label too on the minimal side for a thoughtful and compelling look. Next, the website designed was a true representation of the brand and used its key color scheme of purple and white and font type- big shoulder display. Being an e-commerce website, the customers can easily navigate through the site and find information with minimal clicks. A key feature of the website is its “Sleep Quiz,” which helps customers select the sleeping supplement that will suit them the best.



Results



After a duration of two months, we proudly finished the branding and website designing of Napsomnia. As the end result, we created an enduring brand identity and a carefree, easy-to-use website that truly captures the personality and goals of the brand. Their new website educates sleep-deprived souls of all types while helping them easily find what they need in interactive and engaging ways. Altogether, we were able to deliver on the goals Napsomnia set out to achieve and helped them enter the market successfully.
